Christopher Black became our Youth Pastor in March of 2004.  Already he has been
working hard in reaching out to middle school, high school, and college age youth in Sutherlin, Oakland, Roseburg, and Yoncalla.

Christopher was born and grew up in Wenatchee, Washington, where he attended the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church.

Ministry experience prior to arrival at Calapooia for Chris has been:  Teaching College Age Sunday School Class at Wenatchee, Worship teams, Small Groups, Mission trips to the Ukraine and Belarus, and working at a youth camp in Hawaii.

Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in Christianity and Culture from Trinity Western University in 2003.

Some of Chris' interests are: Early Church History, Theology, Philosophy and The Lord of the Rings.

Hobbies include: Reading, Weight lifting, Hiking, Mountain Biking and Music.
