Companions for Christ Ministry

We really appreciate the vision of Gail Hart to form “Companions for Christ” as an important ministry to help those who are in care centers, shut-ins, and who are facing medical/health challenges.  This really is an important ministry that we as a church must be a part of in caring for each other with the love and compassion of Christ.

Already nine people have signed up to visit people at home or in the hospital; to shop and run errands for those who can’t get out; and to help drive to doctor visits here in Sutherlin or Roseburg .

We would really like to see this ministry grow from nine to 30 people who would be willing to take the time to help others.  Really, isn’t this what Jesus would do?
